They are super light for the depth of rim and seem to handle cross-wind perfectly, much better than some Reynolds wheels I have of similar depth. These have been raced on for 2 years and still run true as the day they came out the box.

I love these wheels - the looks, sound, aero gains, weight and stiffness tick all the right boxes. Looking forward to getting another set from Light Bicycle soon!

LightBicycle 2024/10/15

Hi, can I get these with 32 holes? Is there a Pro Version?

LightBicycle 2024/03/02

Hi Mario, Yes, we can manufacture AR565 road disc rim with 32H. What kind of your bike is it? Is it normal road disc bike? May I know your weight? And what is the bike packing weight? Thanks, Lightbicycle

William 2020/06/10

Hello, I'd like to buy a set of AR56 wheels, how much would deformate a Continental GP5000 tubeless 25mm? Is your chart made on tube tires or tubeless one? Best regards, William

LightBicycle 2020/06/11

Hi William, We tested with tubeless tires. If you like to run GP5000 on the AR56 road disc wheels 700C, I would suggest you go wider (28c). 25c is too difficult to handle. But some people find it easier than others. Érico shared his experience with AR56 rims with GP5000*25C tires with us, you can check it out see if it's helpful. https://www.lightbicycle.com/storytelling/Erico--my-choice-of-quality-rims-based-on-race-performance-and-price Thanks, Lightbicycle

What is the thickness of the carbon at the nipple hole? This number will help calculate spoke length.

LightBicycle 2020/04/03

Hi Adam, Normally, it's 3mm thickness of the carbon at the nipple hole. Did you order AR56 road disc rims? What hubs and spokes/nipples are you going to use? Thanks, Lightbicycle

Bill 2020/01/23

Hi, I would like to know if I can have the same "paintless" finish as the WR50 Disc on the AR56 Disc? I don't mind paying extra for the option. Also is it available with internal nipples? Thank You! Bill

LightBicycle 2020/01/24

Hi Bill, Thanks for your reaching out!For AR56, they are non pro series. We can not manufacture with paintless finish right now. For paintless(pro finish), it needs different mold material. I am sorry about that. But we will have two new pro models, they are 28mm wide/35mm deep or 45mm deep. Does it work for you? It is okay to manufacture rims with internal nipples holes. If you like internal nipple holes on 700C road rims, you can leave a message on the order. We can see it and double check with you, manufacture accordingly. Do you celebrate Chinese New Year in Hongkong? Thanks, Lightbicycle

John 2019/11/25

A few questions: 1. For the US-sourced AR56 rims---do these come with center channel holes? 2. Would it be possible to purchase a global-sourced wheelset in AR56 that are custom made with Shimano Ultegra hubs? HB-RS770 and FH-RS770. Here would be all the specifications for a custom quote: - Shimano Ultegra hubs, 32H for both front and rear - (these hubs are centerlock, 10x100 and 12x142 J-pull) - Sapim CX-Ray Silver spokes 3. For the standard global-sourced AR56 wheelset options, what are the standard spokes? If Sapim CX-Ray were specified, what is the increase in cost? Thank you!! John

LightBicycle 2019/11/25

Hi John, 1. For AR56 road rims 30mm wide, they are with spoke access holes on rim bed in North American warehouse. If you like rims without spoke access holes, you can place special order. It takes around two days to manufacture for you. 2. Yes, we can build this road disc wheelset with shimano front  HB-RS770 12 / 100mm/rear FH-RS770 12 / 142mm road disc hubs. But we do not have silver spokes. Is it black okay for you? 3. Currently, we only have these shimano hubs in global shop not North American. We can build wheelset in global shop and ship by EMS delivery to you. Does it work? Thanks, Lightbicycle
