Drain Hole This is a required option.

The two small drain holes located 90° to the valve hole effectively help evacuate both the water trapped inside the rim and the air leaking into the rim chamber caused by nonperfect tubeless tape sealing handwork that may risk rim explosure in an aggressive tire inflating.

It is the small reinforced layer prelaminated on the area where the drain hole is drilled later that makes the rim strength fairly ensured without any compromise of weight added.

Riders who ride in wet areas are suggested to order rims with drain holes.

We use a lightweight black alloy anodized valves with an oversized concave collar for easy gripping. A rubber o-ring goes in between the rim and the collar to help seal the rim and match the contour of the rim profile. The valve core is removable so you can add sealant without removing your tire.

Hi Kevin, For 29er plus hookless rims, normally we do not recommend 65psi, to prevent from tires blowing off. The rims strength will be okay, just high tire pressure will make tires blowing off while riding maybe. Did you use 65PSI on this rims before? And it works? If you confirm that the rims are okay, we can work on invoice for you. You need rims with +50g added and 36H, UD matte centered drilling. Right? Thanks, Lightbicycle

If I buy another set they would be the 40mm model I had matt finish with the big carbon weave & no logos Is this not available on the AM 935? Yes, we can do no logo for the AM935 29er bike rimsfor you. Could you tell me the configurations that you want with the 29er All mountain wheels so I can quote accordingly? As for the weave, we currently only have the UD for the pro rims as the UD carbon fiber is the strongest in the same condition compared to 3k and 12k. Hi Timo, The Heavy Duty version does not change the rider weight limit. What's your weight and riding style? We can make a specially reinforced version for you according to your profile. The normal HD version is adding extra 50g carbon fiber to the rim. Hi guys - for the 29-plus rim with offset drilling, how much adjustment do you recommend for spoke length to compensate for the offset? A typical non-plus design would add/subtract 1mm usually. Thanks!

Why are the center drilled holes not in a straight line? Do the hole locations make the wheel weaker or heavier?

The 50mm wide 29er plus rim is much wider, so the spoke holes are drilled with center drilling which allow for better balance of tensions in a wheel build, resulting in a stronger, stiffer, and more durable wheel.
